The Spatial Data Infrastructure of Midi-Pyrenees (SDI Midi-Pyrenees) is a web service of map browsing about the Midi-Pyrenees region:

• data and spatial services catalogues
• visualization and maps processing
• access to map data of reference

Midi-Pyrenees S.D.I aims to bring new map services to the public organizations that are subscribing to the European directive INSPIRE INSPIRE(Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe).

GRISI

Is is also possible to directly visualize, from the catalog, available data in Web Map Services (WMS) Supported map servers are server following Open GeoSpatial® Consortium and ESRI® ArcIMS standards.

It is possible to access reference datas of SDI Midi-Pyrénées with a Web Mapping Service (WMS) from WMS client (Desktop SIG, WMS client on-line, etc). Web Mapping Service (WMS) is a standard service of Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) : http://www.opengeospatial.org/standards/wms
